Kittredge is lead appellate counsel for the owner and developer of a student housing facility at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. The firm successfully appealed an adverse judgment of approximately $10 million under the Sherman Antitrust Act.
Kittredge LLC has served as counsel to a number of clients filing amicus briefs in Colorado and around the country, including the Colorado Health Care Association and the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. The cases in which Kittredge has participated have resulted in favorable decisions on a number of significant issues, including courts’ jurisdiction over corporations that do business across state and national lines.
Kittredge LLC’s Dan Domenico serves as co-counsel for the Douglas County School District. Along with former Acting U.S. Solicitor General Neal Katyal of Hogan Lovells, Domenico has represented the district in a significant education case argued at the U.S. Supreme Court on January 11, 2016.
Kittredge is counsel to a development and investment group seeking to build a major facility in the Midwest. The project has involved significant federal litigation and state and federal regulatory oversight.

Kittredge’s Dan Domenico has served as lead counsel in over a dozen cases before the United States Supreme Court, filing briefs, petitions and oppositions to petitions for review, and friend of the court briefs on a wide range of matters. He has presented oral argument before the Court twice.
Dan Domenico successfully appealed an adverse judgment in a major Colorado Supreme Court case involving the interpretation of Colorado’s sales tax statutes and regulations. See Brohl v. Public Service Co.
Dan Domenico successfully defended Colorado’s Oil and Gas Conservation Commission’s rules governing the process for applications for permits to drill. See Grand Valley Citizens’ Alliance v. COGCC.
Dan Domenico successfully petitioned the United States Supreme Court to vacate an adverse judgment in a case challenging Colorado’s Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights.
Dan Domenico was lead counsel before the Colorado Supreme Court for the state Water Engineer in a case governing the legal status of water produced during the extraction of natural gas.
Dan Domenico successfully led the Colorado Supreme Court appeal of an adverse ruling against the Colorado Department of Transportation in a multi-million dollar pollution case.
Kittredge is counsel to a holding company, providing general legal advice on a range of its activities, including water and development rights and supervising litigation over one of the company’s major assets.
Kittredge’s Dan Domenico filed an amicus brief in the Colorado Supreme Court on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce supporting a petition for review filed by Ford Motor Company. The Court recently granted the petition.
Dan Domenico served as counsel to former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter in the successful appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court of a significant decision interpreting the Colorado Open Records Act.
